On a brisk and windy Monday morning our commander had summoned his directors, chiefs, and deputies to the parking lot area outside his office building. He was not happy with the rash of immature behavior around the installation. There were reports and findings of conduct unbecoming of sane mature adults.

The N-word had been found scribbled on several bathroom walls. In an alleged retaliation the H-word was also written on some walls.
A few dead critters (squirrels, rats, and birds) were found hanging by the neck in some work-centers and restrooms.

A woman (Caucasian) had been walking around the base with the word "whore" written on a piece of tape on her back (sweater). We have handicapped and disabled members in our work force who have been treated marginal.

The commanders presentation was direct, quaint, and to the point. Quote: Ladies and gentlemen. Zero tolerance is my policy.
At this installation, there are four areas of conduct that will get you terminated from your jobs. I am very serious and have a personal stake concerning this topic.

I will not tolerate the use of the words NI**er and Honk*, nor will I
tolerate any sexual harassment or stealing on this installation.
